This is the FIRST of the 'GOLD Series' highly detailed and accurate range of kits.
New packaging in the form of label and box will also be included (see
picture).
There are two fuselages options to choose from when ordering (see
pictures). One
with solid resin glazing for the pilot and observer that will require
painting, and one with these areas hollowed out and vacform glazing that
will require cutting and trimming and glueing (along with detailing
these areas as desired).
The plane also comes with two White metal props and a resin torpedo.
Also available are eight 3" rockets on rails (see picture)
but please ask for these to be included with your order if you want them.
NEW price for a basic plane for wargaming purposes. Comes with solid
resin fuselage (NO vacform canopies), NO undercarriage (doors in closed
position), NO props but does still come with your choice of decals for A$15.
NEW (27 Nov 2010) Now also comes with undercarriage
doors molded in the closed position if you wish to display it as flying.
Also available is a conversion set to enable a Merlin engined version to be
built that includes two resin Merlin engines with White metal props, a
set of wings to convert (by cutting off the radial engines and
glueing on the Merlins) and
a resin Boulton-Paul 4 gun turret or a vacform of the turret. It
will require cutting, sanding and puttying of the model (see pictures
above) as well as brass for the barrels. This is available as a A$5 extra.
There are 30 different planes worth of decals designed for this model.
One choice is included with the plane but please state which set you want on ordering
(Ie pick a number from 1 to 30). Additional planes worth of
decals are also available at A$2.00 each.
